From the Director

About Upward Call & Shepherd's Touch

The year of 2010 brought significant changes in this ministry, as Upward Call and Shepherd's Touch merged. Both agencies have a rich history of offering faith based services and we believe this merger will make us even stronger. The move has already been a blessing, as we have been able to expand our services and are currently in a growth mode.

We believe that the following services reflect God's heart for this ministry:

Offer counseling based on the Scriptures. Our counselors are committed Christians who strive to help people in a context of faith.
Strive to keep services affordable.
Offer scholarship funds for those who cannot afford the full fee.
Make services as accessible as possible. Currently, we have three locations, as reflected elsewhere on our website.
Strengthen marriages and families through counseling and enrichment.
Help the local church in its outreach to families and ministry to broken people. We are available to offer training and consultation to church leaders and to serve as a referral resource for congregations.

I am grateful to direct an agency that provides excellent services and has the potential to do more. I will soon celebrate 50 years of counseling experience, but I feel like I have only just begun. There is so much more to do as we serve God together.
