A Clients Word of Hope
For several years I dealt with a lot of worry and anxiety. I tried
to dismiss my problem and hoped it would all resolve on its own.
However, I eventually started to have physical symptoms such as:
a rapid heartbeat, lightheadedness, sleeplessness, nausea, confusion,
and feelings of unreality. I was not able to function on a day-to-day
basis. I finally made an appointment with my family doctorshe
concluded I was having panic attacks and prescribed a drug for this
type of condition. She also encouraged me to see a counselor for
some therapy.
I had asked the Lord for an answer as to where and whom I should
seek counseling. I got some recommendations and started by making
phone calls. Upward Call was the answer and has been an extremely
positive experience since the very first phone call and visit. My
counselor helped me to understand my problem, myself, and has taught
me so much. I learned skills and tools to manage stress and my anxiety
disorder. Instead of avoiding my problem, I embarked on a journey
of walking through it one step at a time. God has answered my prayers.
I am so thankful for this journey and everyone who the Lord placed
in my path to bring me healing.
Pastor to Pastor
Greetings in the Precious Name of Jesus our Savior and Lord.
I trust that you are experiencing the faithfulness of God in your
ministry these days.
It is with a strong sense of affirmation that I recommend the Upward
Call Counseling Ministry of New Holland. Upward Call has served
the community for several years under the able leadership of Robert
Weaver and has been a blessing to various traditions of Christian
faith.
The purpose of this letter is to affirm the ministry at Upward
Call Counseling Services.

"When I'm in need to talk, they are always there for me. They
do so
much for me that makes me feel good." Mike
"I'm disabled and have had a lot of trauma in my life. My
counselor is
compassionate and understanding and doesn't lose patience with me.
It
is uplifting for me, which is apropriate because their name is Upward
Call. I feel better after we talk. I cry because my counselor really
cares about me and what happens to me." Linda
